About Me

The artist behind GyroscopeDesigns is Jordan Fulton. Memphis born and Columbus raised, he discovered both his penchant for art and love of computers at a very young age. Through his gradeschool years, he spent countless hours teaching himself graphic design and basic web programming, designing both for himself and his family and friends.

In his first year at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he released his first public design piece, a replacement icon set for Mac OS X dubbed "Obsidianus" which has since been downloaded over 130,000 times.

After seeing the enormous success of these icons, he decided to hone his craft and make his talents marketable. He set up as a freelance graphic designer and began working for the university's housing and dining department, creating their menus, flyers, and email invitations.
